Dan Aeschlimann, founder of MY sport, has been a professional sports coach since 2001. A former cycling pro, he knows what it takes to achieve big goals.

What you need to know

Our training program for Alpenbrevet 2025 starts in October/November and runs until the event in September. It includes:

  • Winter training: Indoor cycling combined with strength and athletic training.
  • Spring/Summer training: Outdoor rides, focusing on longer sessions to prepare for alpine passes.
  • Additional options: Add-ons such as running, cross-country skiing, or training camps.
  • Nutrition & mental training: Integrated nutritional advice and mental preparation for optimal focus during the event.

The training plans are flexible and can be adapted to your personal time budget:

  • Bronze: Minimum training volume
  • Silber: Medium volume
  • Gold: Advanced athletes
  • Platin: Most intensive preparation for maximum performance

You can switch between the levels at any time and always choose the right training programme for yourself. The metabolic profile is 100% flexible and all performance diagnostics data can be stored and used for training.

  1. Platin training plan
    5-7 cycling units/week + 2 strength and athletics units.
    Goal: Threshold performance over 4 watts/kg & 267 km/7000 metres altitude in best time.
  2. Gold training plan
    4 cycling sessions/week + 2 strength and athletics sessions.
    Goal: Challenging training for experienced athletes.
  3. Silber training plan
    3 cycling sessions/week + 1 athletics session.
    Ideal for riders with experience and knowledge of their wattage values.
  4. Bronze training plan
    2 cycling sessions/week + 1 athletics session.
    Gentle build-up to reach the goal in Andermatt with joy.
