Getting there
For a smooth journey to the Swiss Cycling Alpenbrevet, we offer numerous options to easily reach Andermatt and Ulrichen. Whether by public transport or car, we have compiled all the details for a stress-free arrival. Take advantage of our special train connections or find the best route by car, including parking options.
Take the train to Göschenen and from there a direct connection on the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn to Andermatt within 10 minutes.
Note: Bicycles on public transport
- Bicycle self-loading: In the carrier bag as free hand luggage or for a fee in marked train areas.
- Bike shipping: Simply drop off your bike as luggage at the train station and collect it at your destination.
Extra train Fiesch – Andermatt
The extra train from Fiesch to Andermatt will take you comfortably to the start on Saturday morning, 6 September 2025. More information and ticket sales will be available at the beginning of 2025.
Together with Obergoms Tourismus and the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn we offer a special train on Saturday morning from Fiesch to Andermatt. Obergoms offers enough accommodations, so there is no long journey before the start. The special train leaves Fiesch at 4:00 am and arrives in Andermatt at 5:02 am. This way you will be in Andermatt in time for the start of all tours.
The ticket costs CHF 25 for one person and one bike. The ticket must be purchased in advance and cannot be purchased on the day of arrival. The capacity of the special train is limited to 150 people!

On the highway A2 to Göschenen and from there you can reach Andermatt via country road.
Paid parking in Andermatt:
Around 800 parking spaces are available to participants in the Alpenbrevet at the event in the P1 and Bäz parking lots (parking spaces marked in red in the following plan). At any time, these are subject to a charge. The parking ticket must be purchased on site via the Parkingpay or Twint app.
Mit den ÖV Nach Ulrichen
Mit dem Zug nach Visp und von dort mit der Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn nach Ulrichen oder via Furkatunnel von Andermatt Richtung Ulrichen.
Mit dem Auto nach Ulrichen
Via Grimsel-, Furka oder Nufenenpass erreichst du direkt das Goms. Oder von Visp der Hauptstrasse entlang via Fiesch bis nach Ulrichen.
In Ulrichen stehen auf dem Flugplatz (rot markierte Parkplätze im folgenden Plan) ab Samstagmorgen kostenlose Parkplätze für die Teilnehmenden des Alpenbrevet zur Verfügung.
