Getting there
For a smooth journey to the Swiss Cycling Alpenbrevet, we offer numerous options to easily reach Andermatt and Ulrichen. Whether by public transport or car, we have compiled all the details for a stress-free arrival. Take advantage of our special train connections or find the best route by car, including parking options.
On Friday, 4 September 2026, two trains operated by Südostbahn will depart from Zurich main station with additional capacity specifically for Alpenbrevet participants. We kindly request that all those arriving by train on Friday use these connections:
1st connection: 12:05 p.m. (Zurich main station) – 12:54 p.m. (Arth-Goldau) – 2:06 p.m. (Andermatt)
2nd connection: 4:05 p.m. (Zurich main station) – 4:54 p.m. (Arth-Goldau) – 6:06 p.m. (Andermatt)
Please follow the instructions of the train staff on site. You will also need a regular ticket for yourself and your bike for these connections.
Travelling by public transport on Saturday morning is not possible due to the early start times.
Together with Obergoms Tourism and the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn, we are offering a special train on Saturday early morning from Fiesch to Andermatt. The Obergoms region provides plenty of accommodation options, so there is no need for a long journey on the day of the event. The special train departs from Fiesch at 4:00 a.m. and arrives in Andermatt at 5:02 a.m. This ensures you arrive in time for the start of all tours in Andermatt.
The ticket costs CHF 29.– for one person and one bicycle. The ticket must be purchased in advance and cannot be bought on the day of travel. Please note that the capacity of the special train is limited to 120 people.

Together with our partners, we are offering a special train on Saturday morning from Andermatt to Ulrichen. This allows you to travel comfortably to Obergoms and start your tour without any additional organization.
The special train departs on Saturday, 05 September at 06:52 a.m. from Andermatt.
The ticket costs CHF 19.– per person including bicycle. The ticket must be purchased in advance and cannot be bought on the day of travel. Capacity is limited to a maximum of 120 people.

On the highway A2 to Göschenen and from there you can reach Andermatt via country road.
Paid parking in Andermatt:
Around 800 parking spaces are available to participants in the Alpenbrevet at the event in the P1 and Bäz parking lots (parking spaces marked in red in the following plan). At any time, these are subject to a charge. The parking ticket must be purchased on site via the Parkingpay or Twint app.
Mit den ÖV Nach Ulrichen
Mit dem Zug nach Visp und von dort mit der Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn nach Ulrichen oder via Furkatunnel von Andermatt Richtung Ulrichen.
Mit dem Auto nach Ulrichen
Via Grimsel-, Furka oder Nufenenpass erreichst du direkt das Goms. Oder von Visp der Hauptstrasse entlang via Fiesch bis nach Ulrichen.
In Ulrichen stehen auf dem Flugplatz (rot markierte Parkplätze im folgenden Plan) ab Samstagmorgen kostenlose Parkplätze für die Teilnehmenden des Alpenbrevet zur Verfügung.
