The hype surrounding the Swiss Cycling Alpenbrevet continues. After just over 14 days, all 3,250 starting places for the event have been sold. The increasing demand for the coveted starting places shows how popular the Alpenbrevet is with cycling enthusiasts from Switzerland and abroad.
Philipp Avenell, Head of Marketing for the Alpenbrevet, is delighted with the huge interest: ‘We had expected it to go quickly, but the fact that all slots are sold out so quickly surprised even us.’ The high demand confirms the growing interest in this spectacular cycling event, which leads through the impressive Swiss Alps every year.
Patrick Huber, project manager of the Alpenbrevet, is also delighted with the great popularity: ‘The fact that we sold out so fast is a strong sign of confidence in our event. Now it’s up to us to fulfil the high expectations of the participants.’ The team is already working flat out to offer participants an unforgettable and perfectly organised event.
Waiting lists are now being kept for all Alpenbrevet tours. Interested people who were unable to secure a starting place could add their name to these lists and move up if places become available again. The organisers would like to thank all cyclists for their enormous interest and are looking forward to an exciting ride through the breathtaking scenery of the Swiss Alps.
